Summary:
A growing company located in Beaver Dam is seeking a Direct Hire 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician to join their team. You will be responsible for repairing and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment such as printing presses, saddle stitchers/trimmers cutters, folders, pneumatic tools and compressed air systems. - Hours: Monday – Friday 3:00pm – 11:00pm
- Pay: $22-$35/hour depending on experience. 2nd Shift will receive a $0.70 shift premium.
Responsibilities:
- Observes mechanical devices, equipment and machinery in operation and listens to their sounds to diagnose machine malfunction and determines the need for adjustment, repair, or replacement.
- Dismantles machinery and/or equipment to gain access to and remove defective parts.
- Adjusts functional parts or devices and control instruments.
- Repairs or replaces defective parts.
- Installs special functional and structural parts in devices.
- Repairs electrical equipment or replaces faulty wiring, switches, or relays, as qualified to perform.
Qualifications:
- Must have a clean driving record
- One-year certificate from college or technical school and 5+ years of related experience and/or training or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to anticipate problems and implement appropriate preventative measures.
- Ability to develop new techniques for work processes.
- Must be able to give technical direction to others and project leadership over multiple safety teams
- Ability to lift 25lbs frequently and up to 50lbs occasionally.
- Requires fine motor hand and arm movement, manual dexterity, and coordination.
- Requires working around and operating departmental equipment.
