Summary:
Our company in Waunakee, WI is now hiring a Machine Operator in 1st Shift! You will work in different areas of production, inspect, and ensure products meet quality standards. If you enjoy home decorations and want to make canvas art, this job is for you! A printing or manufacturing background is preferred. Must be able to communicate well within production areas and operate various machinery.
Pay rate: $18- $20/hr depending on experience.
Schedule: is Monday through Friday from 7 am to 3 pm with flexible overtime.
Responsibilities:
- Perform visual inspection of parts.
- Follow all safety procedures.
- Troubleshoot equipment maintenance and clean equipment.
- Set up machine specifications from computer.
- Operating machinery and perform saw duties.
- Daily communication within production areas.
- Load and unload 25 to 50 lbs. rolls of canvas.
Qualifications:
- Bilingual preferred
- Using basic hand tools
- Understanding basic math and ability to solve problems.
- Attention to detail.
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to lift 25-50 lbs. continuously.
- Printing background preferred.
- Availability to work overtime.
