Summary:
Do you have experience with CNC programming? A well-known manufacturer in the Dodge County area is looking to add a 1st shift CNC Programmer to their team! The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year experience of CNC programming and set up.
- Hours: Monday – Friday 6:00am -2:30 pm
- Pay: $20.00-25.00/hr depending on expereince
Responsibilities:
- Develop programs using SolidWorks and CAD to control vertical machining centers and turning centers
- Create layouts for signs and parts using SolidWorks and CAD software
- Be able to identify tooling required to cut materials and create part(s)
- Interpret blueprints to create programs for CNC machines
- Strong attention to detail
- Use computer software to model cutting paths and program machine accordingly
- Adjust machine cutting paths or settings to optimize productions while maintain quality
Qualifications:
- Proficient in SolidWorks and CAD
- Ability to interpret blueprints to create programs
- Apply geometrical tolerances and be proficient with complicated blueprint interpretations.
- Perform standard machining calculations, angles, radius, arcs, speed, feed, etc.
- Effective verbal and written communications skills.
